Terms of Service

Short version: TeeUpTrips is a planning tool. You book everything direct with the courses, hotels, and rental agencies we surface. We don't take a cut and we're not responsible if a tee time falls through.

What TeeUpTrips is

A free product that helps you plan destination golf trips. We surface courses, lodging, and rental car options with our best estimates of cost and availability. You book everything yourself — TeeUpTrips is not a travel agency, not a booking platform, and not a party to any reservation you make.

What we are not

Not a booking platform. We don't take payments, hold reservations, or process bookings. Every link out to a course or hotel is a direct booking with that operator.
Not a travel agent. We won't call the resort for you. We won't manage your itinerary. We're a tool — what you do with the output is up to you.
Not a price guarantee. Green fees, hotel rates, and rental car prices change constantly. Our numbers are best estimates as of the date noted on each course or trip page. Verify the actual price with the operator before booking.
Not an availability guarantee. A course being listed doesn't mean tee times are available on your dates. Many of the marquee resorts (Bandon Dunes, Cabot, Pinehurst, Sand Valley) book 12-24 months out — check with them directly.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe.
One account per person. Don't share logins.
Trips marked "public" via share link are visible to anyone with the link — don't put anything sensitive in the notes field.
We can suspend accounts that abuse the AI Planner, scrape data, or otherwise interfere with normal product operation.

The AI Planner (Concy)

Concy uses Anthropic's Claude model to generate trip ideas. It's a language model — it can be wrong. It can hallucinate a course that doesn't exist, misquote a green fee, or suggest a route that doesn't make sense. Treat every Concy output as a starting point, not a confirmation. Before booking anything, verify the course is real, the date works, and the price is current.

Don't use Concy to extract Anthropic's model outputs at scale or for purposes that violate Anthropic's usage policies.

Acceptable use

Don't break the law on or through the site.
Don't try to break the site (DoS, scraping, reverse-engineering, etc.).
Don't impersonate someone else or create fake accounts.
Don't upload anything illegal or hateful in trip notes or shared trips.

Bookings, refunds, and disputes

Any reservation issue — tee time cancellations, lodging refunds, rental car disputes — is between you and the operator. We can't refund you for a course we didn't sell you.

Disclaimer + limit of liability

TeeUpTrips is provided "as is." We do our best to make the data accurate but we can't promise it always is. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for damages arising from using the site — including missed tee times, overpriced bookings, or trips that didn't go the way you planned.

This isn't us being shady; it's a free planning tool and we can't underwrite your vacation.

Changes

We can update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You can stop using the site any time. If you want your account and data deleted, email hello@teeuptrips.com. We can also terminate access for users who violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute we can't work out informally goes to courts in the operator's jurisdiction.
